Hawaii not just for the rich
Hawaii not just for the rich
I read with pure disgust the cost of the exclusive life this guy Zyda has — no shame.
To complain about added cost to him for wanting to live in an artificial life of luxury when we have families who have to live here because it’s our home and have no place to go because of people like him who come here wanting Hawaii to be their Shangri-La.
Our people are living two or more families in one dwelling and they are the lucky ones. We have families with children living in cars, families lined up at food banks to feed their children because the jobs they have don’t pay enough to survive. We have children who will never get to know their families who live in other counties due to the greed that propels our state government because we know Hawaii has the best politicians money can buy.
Look around, most of us, if not Hawaiian, have lived at least four generations here and do not have the means to relocate to find an affordable life and, by the way, should not have to relocate. This is our home. When this state has given the people a fair chance at life instead of catering to money, maybe then we can sit back and laugh at these egotistical, rich fools who think that they are the only ones in Hawaii.
If we can shake off the inherited loyalty of political parties and vote for people and not greedy politicians who will work for the people of Hawaii, we may actually improve the lives of the real people of Hawaii.
